Our Skills
we understand and apply the most up-to-date knowledge and techniques in the field of psychology to solve the problems of our clients.
We are trained in multiple evidence-based psychology practices (EBPPs): approaches that have been scientifically proven to be effective including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We stay informed by the latest research in the field. We constantly upgrade our skills with continuing education in the areas of psychology in which we practice.
Our Clinical Principles
We believe that the client should see results of treatment within a reasonable amount of time and that we, as well as the client, are accountable for treatment outcome.
We help our client(s) to alleviate the problems and stress that brought them to therapy as quickly and efficiently as possible with as little financial burden as possible. If we can't provide the optimum treatment for a client, it is our ethical responsibility to make a referral to someone else.
Our Collaborative Approach
We work closely with psychiatrists when necessary, creating a treatment team for (clients) who are treated with psychotropic medications in conjunction with talk therapy.
We are familiar with resources in the area so that we can provide our clients with links to other services to address problems that contribute to their overall functioning.
Our Commitment
Our goal is to create a partnership in which the strengths and expertise of our clients are supported by our own.
Although we have extensive training, and continuously strive for excellence in the technical aspects of our work, we know that the connection and safety in the relationship that our clients and we create together is the often the key to healing.Certified Physicians Practice Manager
